This group is for persons serious about contemporary poetry and literature or interested in becoming more aware of contemporary writing. Meetings will not just be inside, but bars and coffee houses are good locations. In good weather activities can be combined with nature walks, hikes, and trips to museums for poetic inspiration.
Exploring Natural Healing is a group focused on discussions and hands on education around the use of natural medicine and nutrition to heal illness, disease and physical/emotional/spiritual imbalances. The group's founder is an Herbalist and Natural Health Practitioner who wishes to explore a wide range of topics with others interested in natural health. Hiking Around Philly is different from most hiking groups because we hike (and sometimes bicycle) off the beaten path. We hike in the woods and the city. We go places that won't be found on any hiker's map. The events are usually within a 1.5 hour drive from Philly, though we sometimes visit NYC or the Jersey shore.
